Purpose

I've been handed quite a few lemons over the past ten years. I am very fortunate in many ways but when bad things happen to me, they don't come in 2's or 3's but more like 6's and 7's. Hence, I end up with a whole basket of bitter lemons. Now, I could sit and stare at those lemons, watching them shrivel up, turn brown and even grow mold. Or, I could change them into something sweet and purposeful. I choose the later.

My goal from this blog is to share how I've turned some tough situations around for myself and my family. We all run into bad luck at different points in our lives, but we always have a choice in how we confront those tough moments. I'm not saying its easy...believe me, I've been knocked on my ass many times but only I get to decide if I want to try again. If in that process I learn something that I can pass on to others, well that right there is a lemonade goal.
